About the role
- Acquire new customers (approx. 70%): You identify relevant target companies, work through a structured target list and proactively approach decision-makers.
- Develop sales strategies: You analyze customer structures, identify technical and economic challenges and develop appropriate sales approaches for each customer segment.
- Own the sales cycle: You manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract signature, work with multiple decision-makers on the client side and bring complex deals to a structured close.
- Build pipeline and develop the market: You create a reliable sales pipeline, manage it in a data-driven way including forecasting, and develop strategic key accounts.
- Position pilot projects as door-openers for further business.
- Create structure and transparency: You maintain the CRM system (Pipedrive), document your sales activities and prepare regular reports for sales management. You provide systematic market feedback to help evolve product, pricing and sales, and hand over won projects to project management in a structured manner.
Requirements
- Experience in technical B2B sales: You have 3–5 years of experience in B2B project sales and have successfully placed consultative, complex solutions in the market.
- Strong closing ability in complex sales: You manage sales processes in a structured way from first contact to contract signing and confidently work with multiple decision-makers on the client side.
- Entrepreneurial working style: You are comfortable in build-up phases, work independently and always think strategically and market-oriented about sales.
- Structured and technology-savvy: You work in a data- and KPI-driven manner with CRM systems, ideally Pipedrive, understand technical relationships quickly and can translate them into customer-friendly language.
