Develop and execute a comprehensive global PR and communications strategy.
Own the strategy, voice, and growth of social media channels.
Build and maintain relationships with key cybersecurity journalists and industry influencers.
Partner with executive and research teams to elevate their profiles through speaking engagements.
Collaborate with content and research teams to develop a strategic content plan.
Act as the primary gatekeeper for brand voice and lead communications for any rapid-response needs.
Manage and hold external PR agencies accountable.
Establish KPIs for brand sentiment, share of voice, PR, and social engagement.
Build and manage an annual calendar of industry awards and speaking opportunities.
Provide editorial support for marketing and communications materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce relevant content in various formats.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in PR, communications, or social media, specifically within the B2B cybersecurity space.
A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into compelling narratives.
A proven track record of securing placements in top-tier business and trade publications (e.g., Dark Reading, SC Media, Wired, WSJ) and building relationships with notable journalists and influencers.
Expert-level knowledge of social media platforms and a pulse on where the "security watercooler" conversation is happening (Reddit, Mastodon, Discord, etc.).
Experience working directly with founders and C-suite executives and the ability to pivot from high-level planning to "boots on the ground" execution.
Proficiency with PR and social analytics tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Sprout Social, etc) to measure impact.
A "team-first" attitude with experience working cross-functionally across GTM, product, and people teams.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where the news cycle moves quickly.
