- Provide analytical support through all design phases, redesigns, and tests of power plants, aircraft systems, and/or parts.
- Participate as an active member in cross-discipline integrated product teams to provide design solutions.
- Develop and incorporate new ways to advance technology and improve processes.
- Write clear documentation and provide impactful technical presentations.
- Develop and sustain healthy work relationships with peers and customers.
- Work autonomously meeting project deliverables on time and budget.
- Attend group meetings, teleconferences, and training required.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support AS9100 efforts.
- Support HSE Durability community initiatives
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Previous experience or knowledge on gas turbines, heat transfer and/or computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Experience with software and programming languages. ANSYS, Workbench, APDL, MATLAB, VBA, Python, C++, Fortran, MS Office, NX Teamcenter, SpaceClaim and SAP.
