Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers
Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis
Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders
Lead and conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk
Lead evaluations of supplier requests for product and process changes
Manage product non-conformances; facilitate root cause investigation and corrective action
Support travel as needed. Minimum 25%
Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years’ relevant experience such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, system engineering, manufacturing & quality systems
Experience in a cross-functional business involving multiple stakeholders (i.e. buyers, engineers, suppliers, program managers, and/or shop floor leaders, etc.)
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
