About the role
- Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers
- Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis
- Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
- Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders
- Lead and conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk
- Lead evaluations of supplier requests for product and process changes
- Manage product non-conformances; facilitate root cause investigation and corrective action
- Support travel as needed. Minimum 25%
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years’ relevant experience such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, system engineering, manufacturing & quality systems
- Experience in a cross-functional business involving multiple stakeholders (i.e. buyers, engineers, suppliers, program managers, and/or shop floor leaders, etc.)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
