Drive monthly financial analysis within the forecasting/reporting process that identifies trends, risks, and upsides.
Provide finance support to management, including but not limited to business case development, program performance, P&L projections, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Lead Sales, Repairs and Product Line teams to perform monthly forecast process.
Assist Finance Controller with developing annual budget and long-range-planning process.
Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and variance analysis for management.
Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teammates to ensure alignment with finance and the business.
Liaison with cross functional teams to act as central point of contact for FP&A questions from Collins Central and SBUs’ Finance.
Prepare journal entries, calculate accruals, allocate expenses, and closely interact with other Finance team members during the month-end close process.
Develop and distribute standard and ad-hoc monthly reporting.
Support senior management level reviews as needed.
Troubleshoot and provide best practices around financial systems.
Create and iterate standardized processes, tools and templates to drive efficiencies and consistencies.
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Knowledge of GAAP, financial analysis, and complex accounting systems.
Degree in finance or accounting.
Experience working for a Fortune 500 company or Aerospace and Defense industry is a plus.
Experience with OneStream, Blackline/ARMs, Hyperion HFM and SAP.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with Tableau, PowerBI is a plus.
