About the role
- Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces
- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in simulated and real-world environments
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging
- Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues
- Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality and impact
- Lead and work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve seamless integration and system functionality
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
- Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements
- Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers
- Support mission execution with travel as needed (up to 20%)
- Work across the full lifecycle from concept to deployment supporting Patriot, LTAMDS, SPY-6, and SM-2 programs
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience
- Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret
- Travel as needed (up to 20%)
- (Preferred) Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools
- (Preferred) Experience with model-based engineering
- (Preferred) Experience in developing and managing requirements
- (Preferred) Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB
- (Preferred) Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports
- (Preferred) Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification
- (Preferred) Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments
