About the role

  • Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces
  • Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments
  • Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging
  • Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues
  • Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation
  • Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact
  • Work with and lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality
  • Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
  • Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements
  • Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers
  • Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience
  • Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret
  • Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools (preferred)
  • Experience with model-based engineering (preferred)
  • Experience in developing and managing requirements (preferred)
  • Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB (preferred)
  • Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports (preferred)
  • Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification (preferred)
  • Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments (preferred)
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%)
