About the role
- Lead performance of reliability predictions.
- Support design reviews.
- Lead failure analysis and root cause and corrective action studies to assure Customer Satisfaction.
- Work across multiple engineering teams to help implement design changes for products being produced.
- Collaborate with team members to conduct test data analysis and trending.
- Collaborate with team members to provide data-driven recommendations and solutions to the customer across a wide range of technical areas, including—but not limited to—electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, energy, and test systems, as well as associated documentation and training.
- Approximately 15% Domestic and International travel may be required.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with reliability analysis or failure analysis
- Experience with FRACAS, FRB and/or RCCA
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret
- Approximately 15% Domestic and International travel may be required
- Ability to manage multiple technical projects and customer requests in a fast-paced operations environment (preferred)
- Experience with RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability), Testability, FMECA, Predictions (preferred)
- Exposure to performing Derating Analysis (preferred)
- Experience developing and providing technical presentations to audiences including the U.S. and international customers (preferred)
- Experience with Defense manufacturing OR work on Autonomous programs/systems (preferred)
- Experience with system assembly, disassembly and test (preferred)
