About the role
- Monthly analysis, research and reporting to the Supply Chain Vice President and Directors on ad hoc requests
- Support consolidation and streamlining of reporting
- Support the development and maintenance of assigned program material forecasts and reviewing for reasonableness
- Support the analysis of the material spend outlook and related risk and opportunities and identify actionable items
- Identify, support and implement process improvements
- Provide cost reduction ideas and project support
- Develop and implement streamlined, consistent and reliable processes, procedures, and reporting
- Train team members and key stakeholders
- Work with many levels of management and various functional organizations
- Navigate APEX/PRISM (SAP), Business Warehouse (BW) or Analysis for Office (AO) and Excel
- Prepare presentation packages for executive level review
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Tool Suite, particularly with Excel
- Experience with SAP (APEX, PRISM, Rplan, and Analysis for Office reporting or similar)
- Experience with Business Warehouse (BW) and Analysis for Office
- Prior experience in FP&A concepts, related systems, and processes
- EAC development experience
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and readily apply solutions and process improvements
- Experience preparing presentation packages for executive level review
- Strong focus on process improvement and advanced problem solving skills
- Experience in transforming customer requests from data to information
- Ability to lead other analysts in a results oriented environment
- Energetic self-starter with good organizational skills
- Ability to teach advanced financial and planning skills to financial analysts
- Understand cost accumulation methods for direct labor including discrete charging and allocation pool charging
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership
