About the role
- Assist with site visits and other activities to facilitate Monitor access to relevant information and personnel, working with legal, finance, and other functions as needed.
- Provide legal advice related to and lead response to internal and external inquiries related to the DPAs/SEC Order.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to employees related to the obligations and requirements of the DPAs/SEC Order.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing internal presentations with sensitivity for legal requirements under the DPAs/SEC Order.
- Assist with document collection and production.
- Work with outside legal counsel.
- Up to 25% travel or as needed.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
- Juris doctor with at least six (6) years of experience in a law firm, federal government agency, or in-house counsel for a large, multinational corporation.
- Admitted to practice law in the U.S., with active bar membership in at least one state.
- Written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to deliver crisp, relevant messaging up, down and across the organization.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working within a cross-functional, highly matrixed organization, and building positive relationships with internal business clients.
- History of collaborating well with others and managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Judgment and demonstrated ability to constructively and appropriately provide leadership to internal clients.
