About the role
- Lead month-end closing, reporting and analysis activities related to the aftermarket process for the PW1100 program.
- Monitor and assess the impact of business process changes on the control environment to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor and review general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accounts are reconciled in an accurate and timely manner.
- Spearhead process and system improvements and creation of processes needed to support growing volume and new business requirements.
- Partner with and provide reporting to internal and external customers including Engine Services Finance, FP&A, and program partners on various aspects of the GTF aftermarket accounting activities.
- Support ad hoc projects and business transactions to support the growth and evolution of the GTF aftermarket.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required with at least 8+ years of relevant work experience; OR an Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- CPA.
- Experience in SAP and OneStream.
- Revenue recognition accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
