About the role
- Manage system requirements for developmental systems involving multiple subcontractors
- Generate and manage systems engineering documentation, including specifications and test plans
- Conduct trade studies and recommend new technologies
- Perform job analysis to estimate engineering effort
- Support financial Earned Value accountability in collaboration with Engineering Cost Account Managers
- Ensure compliance with technical processes and policies
- Review program metrics applying Technical Performance Measures
- Identify and manage technical/engineering Risks and Opportunities across programs
- Support engineering management of suppliers
- Provide accurate and timely status reports to management
- Support business development efforts for new system integration projects
- Collaborate on technical investigations and program review meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Design Engineering, or a related field
- Must be eligible for professional registration (Professional Engineer)
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, or development environments
- Strong project engineering management skills including forecasting, budgeting
- Strong organizational and communication skills in complex systems designs
- Experience with business capture as both a product provider and system integrator
- Proficiency in System Engineering and ILS, Digital Technologies Implementation, and Life Cycle Management
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft suite and various other programs
- Familiarity with Training Management Systems, network architectures, C2/SA applications, Modeling and Simulation applications, DOORS, and MBSE
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset
- Able to travel Internationally
