About the role
- Provide guidance to Corporate functional groups and the business segments with respect to the aforementioned regulations and standards
- Provide support and liaison activities to the RTX Corporate DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) concerning various audits, negotiations of incurred cost submissions, advance agreements and other inquiries made by these and other agencies
- Maintain the RTX Corporate Cost Accounting Standards Board (CASB) Disclosure Statements
- Issue annual Incurred Cost Notices to the various business segments across the company
- Perform/calculate, as necessary, cost impact analysis of accounting changes resulting from modifications to the RTX Corporate CASB Disclosure Statements or alleged CAS noncompliance issues that arise
- Maintain RTX Corporate TINA Disclosure for Contracts
- Support overall Corporate Controller activities in Government Accounting and Compliance as required
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- 5+ years progressive experience in government accounting, public accounting, or private industry
- Knowledge of CAS and FAR regulations and ability to interpret and respond to regulatory issues
- Writing, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to collaborate across RTX functions and with DCAA/DCMA counterparts
- Capability to manage multiple tasks independently while ensuring compliance with regulations
