About the role

  • Ensure comprehensive reporting on support activities including aircraft and engine status, flight reports, operational data, engine configuration status and parts consumption
  • Use self-initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations to determine root cause, and coordinate solutions between P&W Engineering, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, and Lockheed Martin
  • The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating field issues with the local P&W team, Engineering, and Logistics Program Management
  • Lead a team of P&W professionals on-site to achieve Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) requirements, employee fulfillment and participate in Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) initiatives
  • The FSE will need to be able to support and manage support for this OPTEMPO

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred in an engineering or related technical field
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in engine/aircraft maintenance, logistics, and logistics support is required
  • At least 5 years of managerial, supervisory or leadership experience
  • Must have the ability to pass a health physical for Shipboard operational support
  • Experience with US Marine Corps Aviation to include shipboard and remote site operations
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required
