About the role

  • Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries
  • Oversight of GSC proposal execution performance and reporting
  • MRP support and production alignment in support of Operations execution
  • Use critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to ensure business area and program success
  • Must have the capability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Process information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome
  • Have the passion and desire for continuous learning
  • Identify/Generate material R&Os in alignment with program execution
  • Communicate and translate Program requirements to critical suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
  • Collect and analyze performance metrics and contribute to EAC reporting/performance.
  • Ensure supplier is supporting MRP, the MPP, and the MPS.
  • Develop and execute Risk/Opportunity plans to meet program responsibilities & proactively manage mitigation plans.
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues.
  • Act as key supplier and customer interface, including building Program and supplier relationships and leading weekly and quarterly engagements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the supplier’s performance.
  • Facilitate necessary product and process changes through collaboration with suppliers and Engineering/Quality.
  • Facilitate resolution of product non-conformances.
  • Actively participate in program/engineering reviews and change boards.
  • Obtain MPM certification.

Requirements

  • Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM), managing budgets, running forecasting, sales forecasting, and/or managing project/program budgets.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in supplier management, project management and/or program management and/or finance role.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
