About the role
- Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries
- Oversight of GSC proposal execution performance and reporting
- MRP support and production alignment in support of Operations execution
- Use critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to ensure business area and program success
- Must have the capability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
- Process information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome

- Identify/Generate material R&Os in alignment with program execution
- Communicate and translate Program requirements to critical suppliers.
- Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
- Collect and analyze performance metrics and contribute to EAC reporting/performance.
- Ensure supplier is supporting MRP, the MPP, and the MPS.
- Develop and execute Risk/Opportunity plans to meet program responsibilities & proactively manage mitigation plans.
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues.
- Act as key supplier and customer interface, including building Program and supplier relationships and leading weekly and quarterly engagements.
- Proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the supplier’s performance.
- Facilitate necessary product and process changes through collaboration with suppliers and Engineering/Quality.
- Facilitate resolution of product non-conformances.
- Actively participate in program/engineering reviews and change boards.
- Obtain MPM certification.
Requirements
- Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM), managing budgets, running forecasting, sales forecasting, and/or managing project/program budgets.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in supplier management, project management and/or program management and/or finance role.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
