About the role
- Drive innovation and optimization to enable business growth and strategic contributions within Surveillance Supply Planning
- Participate in resource and factory material planning and work closely with factory and operations teams
- Responsible for material inventory audits and movement of material to the factory
- Maintain MRP health and use metrics to drive performance to support contractual obligations
- Create line of balance between customer demands, product inventory, and production levels
- Prepare production requisitions based on master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements
- Work with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build
- Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements
- Provide status on material availability and potential supply problems
- Confirm material supply and demands daily
- Coordinate cross-functional interdepartmental activity (Quality Assurance, Factory Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, Logistics)
- Take corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary
- PRISM functions, assessing supply resources
- Aggregate and prioritize demand profile requirements
- Plan inventory and coordinate material for all products and activities impacting hardware build
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or closely related
- This position requires 12 months or less of related professional experience (excluding internships)
- Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience working across a matrixed organization to achieve results (preferred)
- Advanced analytical tools, such Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python, etc. (preferred)
- Experience with databases and data warehouses, such as SQL, SAP/BW (preferred)
- Coursework in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance or similar (preferred)
