About the role
- Provide tactical MRO&U operations support by coordinating timely solutions with functional groups (Customer Support Engineering, Support Equipment, Logistics Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial, etc.)
- Assist in daily network escalation calls to ensure awareness and prioritization of global needs.
- Prepare documentation and communicate status to internal customers, stakeholders and executive level leadership.
- Represent sustainment operations in the development of “one system and process” to manage and communicate MRO&U network reporting.
- Interface with and monitor the performance of 3rd party MRO Product Service Providers (PSPs).
- Identify and resolve process gaps and systematic issues critical to supporting deliveries.
- Develop and establish forward thinking strategies to support growth, maturity and expansion of the F135 sustainment network.
- Occasional domestic travel (10-20) may be required to support business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Management with 10+ years prior relevant experience; OR advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Management or Business with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, supply chain and/or materials.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task amidst a rapidly changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with cross functional teams to achieve desired results.
- Experience presenting across the organization, including senior and executive leadership.
- Proven ability in identifying root causes to problems, secure relevant information and identify sustainable solutions.
- Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate action plans even when information is incomplete or missing.
