About the role

  • Plan, manage, and co-ordinate all changes to the pre-production & production environment.
  • Provide leadership, direction and definition for the SAP release management function including planning, scheduling, test coordination and implementation of release deployments.
  • Establish, track and report metrics.
  • Provide expertise in implementing best practices for configuration management.
  • Participate in and/or lead the Change Approval Board.
  • Define, maintain and communicate the detailed plan for each release.
  • Work with Resource Managers, Service Managers, Project Managers, Cutover Leads, Quality Assurance Leads, Change Management, Technical Leads, Functional Leads, and others.
  • Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Collins Aerospace.
  • Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives.
  • Support, configure, and manage SAP Change Request Management (ChaRM).

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Deploying, administering and managing SAP Basis and application integrations.
  • Practical understanding of SAP's Transport process and BASIS functions.
  • Familiarity with the workings of development and operations in an SAP environment.
  • Release Management experience.
  • MS Office.
