About the role
- Plan, manage, and co-ordinate all changes to the pre-production & production environment.
- Provide leadership, direction and definition for the SAP release management function including planning, scheduling, test coordination and implementation of release deployments.
- Establish, track and report metrics.
- Provide expertise in implementing best practices for configuration management.
- Participate in and/or lead the Change Approval Board.
- Define, maintain and communicate the detailed plan for each release.
- Work with Resource Managers, Service Managers, Project Managers, Cutover Leads, Quality Assurance Leads, Change Management, Technical Leads, Functional Leads, and others.
- Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Collins Aerospace.
- Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions.
- Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives.
- Support, configure, and manage SAP Change Request Management (ChaRM).
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Deploying, administering and managing SAP Basis and application integrations.
- Practical understanding of SAP's Transport process and BASIS functions.
- Familiarity with the workings of development and operations in an SAP environment.
- Release Management experience.
- MS Office.
