About the role

  • Serve as Empowered Official
  • Supervise a team of Global Trade (GT) professionals, providing support, guidance, and career growth/development
  • Develop export/import licensing plans and provide guidance for complex licensing strategy and program planning
  • Act as subject matter expert in ITAR and EAR export authorizations requirements
  • Preparing, submitting, tracking, obtaining, activating and managing all necessary export and import licenses, permits, and certifications from the U.S. government
  • Providing status updates to the programs/stakeholders for awareness
  • Responsible for managing day-to-day execution of agreements and licenses
  • Assuring regulatory compliance through review and approval of foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import transactions

Requirements

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • Experience in drafting and submitting Department of State and Department of Commerce license and agreement applications and other authorization requests
  • Currently designated as an Empowered Official
  • Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, and/or other automated licensing and compliance systems and/or resources
  • Experience directly supervising Global Trade team
