About the role

  • Manages and supports the timely completion of statutory audits
  • Works directly with tax advisors to drive completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting and filing
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations of financial records and transactional data
  • Manages the preparation of monthly accounting journal entries, accruals, and amortizations
  • Reviews and posts payments using proper costing techniques
  • Leads and develops direct reports within the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 8+ years of experience or 5+ years of experience with a related advanced degree
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Experience with public company accounting / financial reporting
  • Familiarity with US GAAP Accounting, IFRS and/or International Taxation
  • Systems Knowledge - Microsoft Office and SAP with proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF statements, etc.)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize workload
  • High attention to detail and ability to stay organized
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
