About the role
- Support the engagement and business activities with mission areas on a matrixed geographically dispersed team
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
- Support REL UAE Direct Commercial Sales captures to accomplish the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Collaborate toward improvements of processes through use of the existing tools
- Support the development of new tools to enhance performance of programs, captures or other business entities
- Participate in MENA Contracts training and development when needed
- Co-manage OCONUS contracts duties resulting in achieving program and business area objectives
- Ensure successful governance/compliance with company policies and Export/Import obligations and regulatory requirements
- Take ownership of complex program/contract issues and use knowledge of situational dynamics to establish personal engagement strategies to resolve them
- Recognize business and contractual issues in program performance, implement solutions, carry to completion while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6+ years’ experience
- Experience with ICMS and international contracting
- Experience with Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracting
- Experience with proposal preparation
- Experience in negotiations and demonstrated cross-functional leadership within a geographically dispersed team
- Experience and/or knowledge of working in MENA region and business acumen
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
