About the role
- Contribute to driving customer demand strategies, enabling business growth, and achieving alignment across Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Materials Planning, Inventory Management, and Risk Mitigation
- Play a critical part in stabilizing demand and synchronizing supply to improve customer delivery outcomes
- Drive S&OP transformation strategies and support the creation of executable, system-driven production schedules
- Collaborate with Commercial Engines (CE) Program, Industrial, and Finance leadership teams to deliver best in class SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) results
- Strategically plan and manage engine and spares MRP changes to ensure timely execution and minimize disruptions to supply chain stability
- Facilitate SIOP MRP vetting process including identification of business risks due to supply gaps and development/execution of gap closure plans
- Serve as a liaison across business units to address complex MRP challenges and ensure alignment
- Manage Tier 1 part list process (critical and top demand drivers) and ensure compliance with SIOP MRP change PW process level 2
- Responsible for CE and Ops SIOP inputs & Program SIOP presentations
- Collaborate with Military Engines SIOP to standardize processes, reports, and metrics for both businesses
- Analyze complex data from systems such as SAP and Kinaxis to identify trends, evaluate risks, and recommend actions
- Lead critical SIOP projects to support organizational maturity, IBP objectives, and improvement targets
- Leverage Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost curves to assess the impact of potential changes and risks during the SIOP vetting process
- Act as a subject matter expert, educating and influencing stakeholders to adopt and utilize SIOP processes effectively
- Position may require up to 10% travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management
- 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, or Continuous Improvement; or an advanced degree with 7 years of experience
- U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and present at all levels of the organization & operate as an individual contributor.
- Strong leadership, analytical and strategic skills required
- Aerospace production and/or MRO industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, MRP systems, and SIOP methodologies.
- Ability to derive insights from detailed analysis of complex data
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive process improvements.
- Advance Excel & PowerPoint preferred
- APICS Certification is a plus
