About the role
- Support end-to-end delivery assurance for assigned parts and suppliers.
- Monitor the transportation and delivery of products from suppliers through final receipt at the customer.
- Track shipments, manage promise dates, and perform escalated expediting to ensure on-time delivery.
- Work directly with logistics partners (e.g., FedEx) and Customs to clear shipments and resolve delays.
- Investigate an resolve discrepancies related to shipped versus received parts.
- Provide critical parts updates to both internal and external customers.
- Perform delivery and inventory calculations to ensure continued production flow.
- Identify and report parts that are at low stock or at risk of shortage.
- Resolve material issues associated with the trouble rack at PW.
- Participate in supplier calls and internal cross-functional meetings as required.
- Work closely with PW Buyers to ensure purchase orders are placed on time.
- Collaborate with PW Planners to align schedules and mitigate supply risks.
- Support Engineering Change (EC) activities, including follow-ups and material impacts.
- Manage moderately sized projects or processes related to delivery assurance or material flow.
- Identify opportunities for improvements to processes, systems, or standards to enhance performance.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Working experience within delivery assurance, supply chain, logistics, or procurement operations.
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, MRO, or a similarly regulated environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to track orders, deliveries, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into corrective actions.
- Experience working directly with suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.
- Working knowledge of project management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience resolving complex, cross-functional delivery or material issues with minimal oversight.
- Communication skills with the ability to present clear, actionable delivery status and risk assessments to internal and external stakeholders.
