About the role
- Support the operation of two SAP BW Data Warehouse (HANA and Oracle) in a global environment.
- Data separation and legal entity carve-out in BW/BO environment.
- Historical and incremental data handling.
- Develop/Modify BW infoproviders, Transformation and infopackages.
- Develop HANA views, SQL scripts, API interfaces, BW infoproviders, ETL transformations, and BEX queries.
- Develop BW batch jobs and schedule to support MADMAC requirements.
- Perform data reconciliation between SAP source system and BW.
- Work with security team and implement BW security and authorization updates.
- Updates Business object(BO) Webi reports and Universes to reflect Acquisition/Divestiture changes.
- Manage BO CMC access, user groups and role clean-up.
- Decommission obsolete or divested reports.
- Work with internal business customers and software development teams to gather and document requirements for data publishing and data consumption via data warehouse, and analytics solutions.
- Coordination on migration, architecture, and platform decisions with the digital technology team.
- Work as a team member across the complete life cycle of delivery including architecture, design, development, test, and document integration solutions, custom development, and data migration elements of business applications.
- Define and clearly communicate requirements to all stakeholders.
- Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
- SAP BW/Oracle is a must have.
- SAP Business objects (Webi, Universes, CMC).
- Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills.
- Prior M&A/Divestiture experience.
- SAP ECC function exposure.
- Hands-on development experience with HANA, Java, Python, and API.
- Experience with SAP data warehousing methodologies and modeling techniques.
- Project experience implementing SAP BW/HANA solutions.
- Good knowledge of Java, Python, and API development.
- Experience with ETL tools.
- Experience supporting Production applications or workloads.
- Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
