About the role

  • Responsible for Redwood Run My Jobs job set up, monitoring and custom scripting.
  • Support the custom built system that moves data, loads the data into an Oracle database.
  • Execute data transformations, and queues the data into the billing system for processing.
  • Troubleshooting processing or data loading issues and restarting jobs.
  • Coordinating with billing analysts and service owners to keep billing cycles on schedule.

Requirements

  • 10yrs+ experience
  • Understanding SSH and batch files.
  • Basic understanding of Solaris UNIX and Linux.
  • Advanced knowledge of UNIX Korn Shell (K shell) scripting.
  • Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of packages, package bodies, procedures.
  • Oracle Advanced Features and Oracle partitioning and indexing.
  • Oracle SQL Loader.
