About the role
- Provide leadership, direction, and implementation management while working with US and international teams
- Support all phases of the program life cycle from proposal through implementation to closure
- Work closely with aircraft manufacturers, US and international government representatives, and in country business partners
- Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, implement gates and major reviews with the customer
- Manage cost, schedule, scope, operational security and customer interface activities
- Coordinate and comply with applicable Export/Import regulations as required
- Travel up to 20%, to participate in domestic and international business engagements with customers, partners, and teammates
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience in program management or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Program or project management experience
- Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, or similar business processes
- Experience with sustainment programs
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
