About the role
- Design and development of solutions within our SAP platform for all modules in the SAP ECC environment
- Development of the SAP system to support Pratt & Whitney's global networks
- Writing technical specifications based on functional specifications
- Validating solutions in accordance with functional specifications
- Deploying the solution and transitioning it to operational status
- Performing development in accordance with Pratt & Whitney operational standards
- Coordinating work and specifications with Global Workshare developers
Requirements
- University degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior developer
- Knowledge of SAP Basis and SAP Security activities
- Experience in the technical implementation of SAP projects with ABAP systems
- Experience with SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration)
- Experience with the NetWeaver ABAP and Java stack
- Experience with ABAP development and debugging techniques
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development and debugging techniques
- Experience with SAP HANA technology
- Knowledge of HANA CDS views
- Basic project management skills (preferred)
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (preferred)
- Knowledge of business process design and SAP ECC configuration (asset)
- Knowledge of SAP security concepts for ECC, BW, Portal, PI/PO, Fiori and HANA (asset)
- Knowledge of SAP web development techniques (asset)
- Experience in 1 to 3 SAP functional modules
- Experience developing applications on SAP BTP, including CAP and RAP (asset)
- Experience with SAP S/4 (asset)
- Experience with SAP Cloud deployment (asset)
- Experience with SAP Portal platforms and certain SAP SaaS solutions such as IBP, FSM or Ariba (asset)
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (asset)
- Knowledge of new SAP development approaches with S/4HANA and BW/4HANA (asset)
- SAP certification (asset)
