About the role
- Prepare and issue Request for Information/Quotations/Proposals for multiple suppliers in various international locations
- Perform price and cost analysis and lead formal negotiations, Price, delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions.
- Place subcontracts/purchase orders/letter of subcontracts and associated change orders
- Issue and conflict resolution of medium/high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various subcontract types (Cost Types, Firm Fixed price, Time & Materials)
- Adhere to and understand Export/Import/RGEMS requirements as necessary to support daily activities
- Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to achieve objectives
- Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors and Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews.
- Work with internal teams to coordinate procurement and shipment of supplies.
- Maintain PO’s to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information
- Lead other related supply chain activities to include SDRL oversight and tracking, SSOW reviews, International Transactional Due Diligence, and weekly supplier meetings.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 20%, primarily international travel.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations.
- SAP/PRISM based environment experience
- Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and service – including Statement of Work Review (SSOW)
- Experience with Export/Import requirements and working with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR, DFAR)
