About the role
- Develop and implement standardized project management processes and templates to streamline project delivery and drive efficiency and consistency across all projects.
- Establish and maintain project management tools and reporting to facilitate project planning and execution, status reporting, and financial management.
- Monitor project performance against key metrics, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship on project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to ensure adherence to processes and the successful execution of projects.
- Ensure execution of portfolio financial commitments. Providing services to the PMO for forecasting & planning, actuals analysis, capital requests and variance analysis.
- Lead the Lean Agile Center of Excellence as the Product Manager providing leadership strategic direction, escalation of critical issues and establishment of common processes.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on digital technology projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in implementing and managing project management tools and software (Planview Portfolios, Microsoft Project, JIRA).
- Experience with metric dashboard and report development in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results.
- Work productively in a fast-paced, demanding environment (virtually as well as in-person).
