About the role
- Create and maintain the program Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Work closely with multiple schedulers to roll updates into a Master schedule.
- Track plans and schedules, solicit regular updates, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Interact with Control Account Managers (CAMs)/Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to develop intermediate schedules and incorporate them into the IMS.
- Advanced analytics and ownership to assist CAMs/IPTs with awareness of schedule impacts before closing month end.
- Participate in the development of proposals including the creation of interim schedules and providing advice for the creation of Basis of Estimate documents.
- Incorporate regular status and forecast updates in the IMS based on inputs from CAMs.
- Conduct thorough critical path and driving path analysis of the IMS.
- Work in parallel with the cost analyst of the program to ensure the cost and schedule are reconciled.
- Take steps to correct any mismatched items and address root cause.
- Present required and requested schedule-related reports to Program Management including highlights of schedule-related issues affecting program execution and recommendations for mitigation.
- Support monthly Program Reviews, quarterly EACs, and monthly IPMDAR reporting.
- Support ongoing compliance reviews and/or periodic process audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Process).
- Ensure the proper implementation of EVMS through the use of standardized processes, tools, reports out on-going compliance reviews and/or periodic process audits (e.g. DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Process).
- Ability to travel 10-15%
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience as a Schedule analyst with Microsoft Project
- Experience with Earned Value Concepts
