Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
Normally receives little instructions on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Participates in determining objectives of assignment.
Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
Work is reviewed upon completion.
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.
Engages with senior personnel both within and outside the organization in their area of expertise.
Acts as the primary representative for the organization on contracts or projects.
Collaborates with senior internal and external stakeholders on important issues, frequently necessitating coordination across different organizations.

Responds to situations where second-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.
Requirements
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
Must have experience in operating the mission support equipment installed on a Air Force E-4B aircraft.
Possess IA (Information Assurance) Certification in one of the following: GSEC, SCNP, SSCP or Security+.
