About the role
- Design and implement scalable DevOps pipelines, cloud infrastructure automation, and SRE best practices to optimize application delivery and performance
- Perform hands on development and configuration to design, develop, and implement cloud capabilities for clients
- Develop "as-code" cloud transformation accelerators and internal solution summaries/accelerator tool kits
- Work directly with clients in a client-facing role, advising, assessing, implementing and operating critical operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, architects, and cybersecurity professionals
- Guide and mentor clients and junior consultants through end-to-end cloud journeys
- Build demonstration scenarios, prototypes and participate in development of cloud transformation strategies and operating models
- Assist clients with complex technology problem solving, assessments, gap analysis, audits and recommendations for improvement
- Support engagement of Cloud Transformation Leaders and drive success in their programs
- Work as part of integrated squads of consultants and cloud engineers across regions
Requirements
- Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Information Security or similar
- Bachelor's degree or graduate degree and 2-4 years of related work experience (required qualifications)
- Successful candidates typically have 4-6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, DevSecOps, migration, modernization, and applied cloud engineering
- Proficiency with popular Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience delivering engineering solutions as code on client cloud platforms
- Hands-on cloud engineering and architecture expertise across Cloud Transformation Strategy, Core Platform Engineering, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Cloud Operations, Application Disposition, Modernization, Migration, AI and Data Analytics
- Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) and cloud automation and integration software packages
- Proficiency in Terraform and CSP native IaC languages (CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep)
- Proficiency in Python, Java, PowerShell, C# .Net, Bash, or Go (or equivalent languages)
- Experience with software build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps approaches
- Knowledge of networking, security principles, and DevSecOps best practices
- Experience guiding clients in adoption of cloud-native, serverless, and containerized architectures
- Experience with container registries and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, ECR, ECS, EKS, Fargate, AKS, ACI, ACR)
- Experience with logging & monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Splunk)
- Familiarity with SIEM and SOC operations and tech stack (Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview) preferred
- Familiarity with cloud security services and tooling (IAM, Key Vault, VPC, RDS, WAF, IDS/IPS, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Inspector, Config, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and maturity models (CSA CCM, NIST 800-53, CMMC, CIS)
- Certifications preferred (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, Google Professional DevOps Engineer)
- Cloud FinOps knowledge and tooling experience preferred (AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, Budgets, Azure Cost Management)
- DevOps tooling experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and GenAI infrastructure platform design and development experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to all technical levels, including senior management

- High degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in technical coursework
