About the role
- Build and deliver high-quality Scala/Spark code on HDFS platforms
- Perform data analysis, profiling, and lineage
- Write technical design documents in Agile (SCRUM) format
- Develop and run automated unit and regression tests (BDD)
- Support UAT and automated DevOps release processes
- Work with global teams and stakeholders to meet project needs
Requirements
- 3+ years Scala/Spark development
- SQL on RDBMS (DB2 preferred)
- 2+ years HDFS/big data platform experience
- Familiarity with Actimize ACTONE
- Strong skills in code optimization and scalability
- Experience in Agile projects
- AML / financial crimes technology experience (desired)
- Actimize SAM/CTR experience (desired)
- Tableau or other visualization tools (desired)
- Big Data certification (desired)
- Knowledge of BDD, machine learning, or predictive analytics (desired)
