About the role

  • Build and deliver high-quality Scala/Spark code on HDFS platforms
  • Perform data analysis, profiling, and lineage
  • Write technical design documents in Agile (SCRUM) format
  • Develop and run automated unit and regression tests (BDD)
  • Support UAT and automated DevOps release processes
  • Work with global teams and stakeholders to meet project needs

Requirements

  • 3+ years Scala/Spark development
  • SQL on RDBMS (DB2 preferred)
  • 2+ years HDFS/big data platform experience
  • Familiarity with Actimize ACTONE
  • Strong skills in code optimization and scalability
  • Experience in Agile projects
  • AML / financial crimes technology experience (desired)
  • Actimize SAM/CTR experience (desired)
  • Tableau or other visualization tools (desired)
  • Big Data certification (desired)
  • Knowledge of BDD, machine learning, or predictive analytics (desired)
