About the role

  • RSI is looking for an Associate Engineer to join our Solutions organization. Leverage understanding of relational databases, object oriented programming, and data structures to work with SSIS, SQL, and C# on an implementation project. Define system requirements, write business and technical specifications, create test cases, perform unit and system testing and assist with implementation of data interface from a legacy system to a new Integrated Tax System. Job Responsibilities: Conduct requirements gathering and analysis; Using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write software code; Support testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities; Apply knowledge of software development best practices.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science 0 - 1 year of relevant software experience Knowledge of Relational Databases, Object Oriented Design, and Data Structures Familiarity with one or more programming languages Familiarity with standard development techniques (Agile SDLC, OOD) Experience in SQL Strong analytical problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outgoing and enthusiastic personality Professional business demeanor Desired/Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency in C# and/or SSIS
