About the role
- Lead the strategy, architecture, and operational execution of the company’s enterprise-wide network infrastructure
- Oversee the engineering, implementation, and lifecycle management of all network technologies across data centers, cloud environments, and distributed enterprise locations
- Ensure a secure, resilient, and scalable network foundation that enables business growth, supports hybrid cloud adoption, and delivers an exceptional end-user experience
- Drive the strategy and hands-on implementation of network automation, encompassing provisioning, configuration management, patching, observability, and self-healing capabilities
- Direct the design, implementation, and optimization of existing technology environments across LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center segments
- Manage technology partnerships and contracts to ensure alignment with automation and operational excellence goals
- Build and mentor a high-performing, automation-focused network engineering team
- Ensure network change management and configuration baselines are governed through code repositories and approval workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles managing enterprise-scale, multi-vendor environments
- Deep expertise in: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN
- Network Security: Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, Zero Trust, segmentation
- Design and deployment of automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and RESTful APIs
- Implementation of automated network configuration enforcement, drift detection, and lifecycle patch management
- Experience with SolarWinds, NetScaler, and AIOps-based telemetry pipelines
- Strong leadership, communication, and vendor management skills
- Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
