About the role
- Spend 3 days a week visiting trade accounts in accordance with a strategic call plan.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales - South to maximise opportunities.
- Serve as the primary contact for travel agents, addressing day-to-day queries and uncovering sales opportunities.
- Be the go-to resource for all sales, commercial, and marketing-related enquiries.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with Store Managers, Sales Managers, and key decision-makers.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to drive brand sales across various business models, contributing to the overall growth of Silversea.
- Prepare insightful reports that provide valuable perspectives on brand performance and market trends.
- Regularly visit trade partners following a well-structured weekly schedule to ensure ongoing engagement and support.
- Conduct engaging training sessions both in-person and virtually to empower travel agents with the knowledge they need to sell Silversea effectively.
- Actively seek opportunities to increase revenue with Gold & Silver accounts through innovative strategies and partnerships.
- Organise and participate in ad-hoc events, both in-person and virtual, to promote the brand and connect with travel agents.
- Host regular webinars to keep small and medium-sized accounts informed and engaged with the brand.
- Represent Silversea at trade events, both during the day and in the evening, to network and build relationships.
- Be prepared for evening and weekend work as needed, with time in lieu for hours worked outside of standard business hours.
Requirements
- Based in the North.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal day-to-day direction.
- Proven ability to achieve sales goals and drive profitable revenue growth.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to tactfully deal with internal and external contacts both domestic and international.
- Must possess a positive, team-player attitude.
- Minimum 1 years in a sales role.
- Cruise or luxury travel preferred.
- Fast learner and passion for sales.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
- Proven ability to effectively qualify new leads and identify potential for sales growth.
- Confident and engaging presenter and excellent communicator.
- High standard of written and verbal skills.
- Full UK Driving licence.
