About the role
- Ensure the company identifies and manages key operational, financial and compliance risks
- Develop and implement contractual compliance and insurance programs across projects and operations
- Develop systems to monitor and ensure compliance with leases, construction, utility, financing and other project contracts
- Conduct risk assessments and collect/analyze data to anticipate risks and improve compliance programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage internal/external stakeholders to manage risk and compliance
- Manage company-wide and project-specific insurance policies, tracking coverage, renewals and insurance requirements
- Create a company culture of risk awareness; perform proactive monitoring and reporting
Requirements
- AA or BA degree in a related field (business, real estate) or at least three (3) years of experience in contract and risk management in the data center, energy or real estate industry
- Proven experience in contract compliance and insurance management, including implementing or managing contract compliance systems
- Familiarity with finance, energy, real estate and construction contracts and project-based legal documentation
- Familiarity with lender Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and across departments
- Technologically savvy (Excel, Airtable, contract lifecycle management platforms)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
