About the role
- Live within Southeast Area
- Own and grow foodservice sales within a multi-state Southeast region
- Manage, support, and hold foodservice sales brokers accountable
- Conduct regular business reviews with brokers and distributor partners
- Drive product placement and cutting in new items at the operator and distributor level
- Spend approximately 4 days per week in the field with customers and 1 day on administrative/office work
- Travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory
- Attend foodservice food shows, expos, conferences, and industry events
- Present confidently to executives, chefs, operators, and ownership groups
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Demand Planning
- Prepare basic reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of foodservice sales experience with a 4-year College Degree or 8-10 years of foodservice field sales
- Experience selling within foodservice manufacturing or working directly with brokers and distributors
- Strong understanding of distributor networks; Unipro familiarity preferred
- Comfortable managing broker relationships and driving accountability
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in basic Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently in a travel-based, results-driven role
