About the role
- Managing the entire hiring process from sourcing to offer acceptance.
- Participating in developing, implementing, and executing recruiting programs and strategies to fill current openings and help build a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Build solid relationships with leadership teams and serve as a partner before, during, and after the recruiting process.
- Be proactive in networking, cold calling, and “deep diving” into passive candidate networks throughout various markets
- Handles confidential information in a professional manner, respecting employee privacy while maintaining company confidentiality.
- Interacts with various levels of management, employees, applicants, and vendors.
- Manages college recruitment program initiatives from coordinating events to attending events as a Company representative.
- Manages job postings and announcements, applicant correspondence, employee resumes, employment application forms, scheduling interviews, etc.
- Maintains applicant files in line with company policies and government regulations.
- Retains records in line with company record retention requirements.
- Considerable filing, faxing, copying, distribution of materials, etc.
- Develop relationships and create new relationships with recruiting contacts in the community.
- Create and maintain statistical and/or compliance reporting.
- Assist in the immigration process (H1-B).
Requirements
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related discipline
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Additional HR certifications a plus (PHR, SHRM-CP)
- Background in Construction highly preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ recruitment experience
- Experience with an HRIS and ATS database; (Taleo Preferred)
- Can be a combination of training, education and relevant work experience that is equivalent
