Perform daily administration of the IFS ERP system (IFS 7.5), including user management, security configuration (Configuring permissions, roles), performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Manage IFS environments (Development, Test, Production), including patching, maintenance, cloning, and backups/recovery coordination.
Manage Application, Web, Print and Database Servers including SSL certificate renewals and fine tuning of server resources.
Provide L2/L3 technical support for IFS application, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to system performance, configuration, and integrations.
Communicate with IFS support and third-party vendors for issue resolution.
Monitor system health, logs, background and batch jobs, IFS connect transactions identifying and addressing potential problems.
Configure and customize IFS modules according to our requirements using standard IFS tools (e.g., Custom Objects, Custom Events, Custom Menus, Profiles, Roles).
Analyze our requirements and translate them into technical specifications for configuration or minor development tasks.
Maintain IFS reports and data extraction processes.
Design, test, deploy, and maintain integration between IFS and other enterprise ERP, HR, IAM systems.
Use MuleSoft as an integration platform for connecting IFS with other applications.
Develop SOAP-based web services in Java using IFS Developer Studio and other standard IFS integration technologies (e.g., IFS Connect, REST APIs).
Participate in the planning IFS 75/ Cloud installations, upgrades, and patch deployments across multiple environments.
Support global deployment projects, including environment setup, data migration tasks, and post-go-live support for international sites.
Create comprehensive technical documentation for system configurations, integrations and processes.
Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
SAFe Agilist (SA) or other SAFe certifications.
Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in development, administration, configuration, and support of IFS Applications 7.5 or 8.
Experience with a technical understanding of IFS Cloud.
Experience participating in IFS installation, upgrades, and patch management.
Experience supporting global IFS deployments in a multi-site, international environment.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, within an Oracle database context (common for IFS).
Experience with specific IFS modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, and HCM).
Experience with IFS reporting tools (e.g., IFS Business Reporter, Crystal Reports) or BI tools (e.g., Power BI) connected to IFS.
Experience migrating from IFS 7.5 to IFS Cloud.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, Python).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
ITIL certification or familiarity with IT Service Management frameworks.
Project management experience.
