About the role
- Lead the development of simulation and virtual commissioning models
- Represent the company at industry events to build awareness
- Maintain awareness of technology and industry trends related to simulation and emulation
- Manage development backlog for client engagements
- Manage and assign tasks to junior engineers during client engagements
- Develop technical and functional specifications based on software design and performance
- Data modeling and requirements definition mapping
- Perform unit testing and code reviews
- Status reporting within DevOps tools
- DevOps development and implementation
- Provide client support including troubleshooting, software upgrades, and enhancements
- Status reporting within the team and with clients
- Manage requirements from multiple clients
- Work with diverse and cross-cultural teams
- Contribute to internal initiatives and tool building
- Report to the Digital Consulting Principal and work remotely
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S or Canada (We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas)
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- Bilingual or able to communicate in English (spoken and written)
- Typically requires no previous professional experience
- Prefer 1+ years of experience leading implementation, validation and deployment of scalable simulation and emulation technology in an operational setting (Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Auto & Tire, Consumer Goods, Warehousing & Logistics)
- Prefer 1+ years of experience developing in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, .NET, or related
- Experience delivering projects using Agile or similar methodologies
- Experience with Emulate3D, Sim3D/Demo3D, or equivalent industrial standard simulation and emulation software
- Experience conducting technical evaluations of client infrastructure (automation control, equipment automation, sensors/instrumentation)
- Experience integrating emulation software with soft and physical controllers
