Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product and within budget constraints
Proposal and estimate generation, client negotiations, contract review and sub-contractor communications
Usually involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products to clients
Discuss the financial aspects of project management: forecasting, cost tracking, percentage completion, revenue recognition, and project accounting
Manage subcontracts including contract labor and fixed price deliverables
Work with customers for business implementation strategies
Primary interface with customer, sales and other Rockwell Automation entities for assigned projects
Manage execution of moderate to large scale projects within margin targets
Manage and report all financial aspects of assigned projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The ability to travel up to 15% of the time
5+ years of experience with direct customer project management including all aspects of scope, schedule, quality, and financial management
Experience in industrial production/manufacturing industry
Experience with controls and automation
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Formal PMI based Project Management training.
