About the role
- Own and close new customer opportunities within your assigned territory
- Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, events, and strategic networking (in addition to inbound/BDR leads)
- Lead the full sales cycle from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Develop and execute territory plans focused on new logo acquisition and revenue growth
- Run in-depth discovery conversations to uncover customer needs and align solutions
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that articulate Cerio’s value and ROI
- Manage complex sales processes, including objections, buying committees, and commercial negotiations
- Forecast revenue accurately and maintain pipeline visibility within the CRM
- Track market trends and competitive activity to sharpen positioning and deal strategy
Requirements
- Proven success closing new business and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience selling into complex or emerging technology markets (Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure or Server, Data Center environments preferred)
- Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and deal discipline
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating independently in a growth-stage company
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales forecasting
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites across Canada and/or the U.S.
