About the role
- Provide high quality customer service through accurate, timely, and professional responses to billing, payment, and policy questions.
- Assess customer needs, service insurance policies, and process policy changes.
- Promote products and communicate effectively with customers about coverage and premiums.
- Respond to various requests for information providing timely assistance to customers.
- Document all interactions with customers in AMS360 agency management system to support account sales and service.
- Schedule annual coverage review meetings with customers for agents.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1+ years of demonstrated success in an insurance call center or independent agency environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Obtain and/or maintain Virginia property and casualty insurance license.
- Personal Lines insurance experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Farm, Agribusiness, or Commercial underwriting experience helpful.
- CISR, CPIA or similar designation(s) preferred.
