About the role

  • Create and modify assets and materials to support artistic vision.
  • Learn to resolve bugs and workflow issues for artists, designers, and engineers.
  • Participate in reviews, incorporate feedback, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of College/University digital art education.
  • Solid foundation with shaders (HLSL, Material Blueprints, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of scripting (Python, Blueprints, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the drive to solve problems and debug issues.
  • Strong collaborative skills with a willingness to accept and respond to critical and creative feedback.
  • Capacity for self-motivation, the ability to work independently, a willingness to ask questions, and a strong work ethic.
  • Passion for video games and knowledge of current industry trends.
  • Experience with 3D asset creation; modeling, texturing, rigging, animation.
  • Experience with personal or school projects in Unreal, Unity, or Godot.
  • Experience with a version control solution, like Git or Perforce.
  • Experience with fine arts fundamentals.
