About the role
- Lead and coordinate multiple projects concurrently, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop project charters, work plans, timelines, resource allocations and communication plans.
- Manage project work package interdependencies and cumulative change impacts.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, track milestones, and proactively address risks or barriers.
- Maintain project documentation and prepare regular updates for team members, managers, and executive leadership.
- Support the evaluation of project impact and lessons learned.
- Provide planning and oversight to ensure a smooth operational transition.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate Committees, Working Groups and project meetings to gather input, communicate updates and drive shared ownership.
- Build positive relationships across the agency to support shared understanding and collaborative decision-making.
- Develop and execute change management plans that align with project goals, including communication, training and operational transition activities.
- Help teams adapt to new tools, processes, or changes in service delivery by applying change management best practices.
- Design and facilitate staff engagement sessions and feedback loops to incorporate frontline perspectives into implementation activities.
- Establish and manage project governance structures with clear roles, accountability and decision-making authority.
- Prepare project status updates, risks/issues logs and decision briefs for leadership and governing bodies.
- Track progress against timelines, deliverables and outcomes.
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff involved in project work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, Public Health, Social Sciences or a related field; Master’s degree is considered an asset.
- Certification of formal training in project management or related fields (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Lean, Agile, Change Management) is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience supporting and leading projects, ideally in a mental health, healthcare or non-profit environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of technology as required of the position, including working in a virtual environment with MAC OS operating systems experience preferred.
- Experience working with MS Power BI or Canva is considered an asset.
- Current (within three months) criminal reference check with vulnerable sector search.
