About the role
- Supports the Infection Prevention Program for the assigned organization
- Develops and implements policies and procedures related to infection prevention
- Conducts surveillance for HAI’s hospital onset and community acquired infections
- Analyzes, interprets, and reports data to the Associate Director/Senior Director of Infection Prevention
- Leads projects to reduce infections and develops infection prevention policies
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., nursing, clinical, public health)
- CIC certification within 2 years of hire
- Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
