About the role
- Define & Communicate Product Vision: Lead the vision and roadmap for data products, aligning with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
- Lead Data Product Development: Manage the full lifecycle of data products, from ideation to deployment, leveraging Roche’s IT/OT ecosystems for stable, automated solutions.
- Drive Value Delivery & Prioritization: Develop prioritized product backlogs, guiding teams to deliver scalable, reusable data products that achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Ensure Governance & Compliance: Guarantee data products adhere to Roche’s data quality standards, governance policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, GxP).
- Champion Collaboration & Mentorship: Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, fostering harmonization and mentoring other Data Product Owners.
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience in designing and delivering complex, high-quality data and analytics solutions in an agile environment
- 4+ years in a product owner, data analyst, or similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Proven track record of data management on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake) and experience with product management/roadmap development
- Strong understanding of data architectures, data modeling, data integration (e.g., data mesh, data warehousing), and SDLC/CSV
- Excellent ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and lead teams in an agile setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology-related field
