About the role

  • Responsible for leading the generation of sales for assigned set of named accounts or territories.
  • Contacting and visiting existing and prospective customers.
  • Involved in account expansion and acquiring similarly significant new accounts.
  • Assist in developing and implementing national sales campaigns and sales strategies for medium to large accounts.
  • Lead with expertise and innovation by leveraging deep industry knowledge and broad experience.
  • Shape sales strategy and execution by developing and implementing approaches that achieve sales objectives.
  • Serve as the molecular diagnostics expert by applying specialized understanding of Roche’s portfolio.
  • Deliver tailored solutions through effective identification of customer accounts.
  • Influence through collaboration with marketing, technical, and support teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Build lasting relationships by cultivating strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Model leadership and mentorship by serving as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years relevant sales or equivalent experience
  • Good oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Negotiation, contracting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment
  • Strategic planning and organizational skills
  • Medical or Diagnostics Capital Equipment sales experience preferred.
