About the role
- Responsible for leading the generation of sales for assigned set of named accounts or territories.
- Contacting and visiting existing and prospective customers.
- Involved in account expansion and acquiring similarly significant new accounts.
- Assist in developing and implementing national sales campaigns and sales strategies for medium to large accounts.
- Lead with expertise and innovation by leveraging deep industry knowledge and broad experience.
- Shape sales strategy and execution by developing and implementing approaches that achieve sales objectives.
- Serve as the molecular diagnostics expert by applying specialized understanding of Roche’s portfolio.
- Deliver tailored solutions through effective identification of customer accounts.
- Influence through collaboration with marketing, technical, and support teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies.
- Build lasting relationships by cultivating strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Model leadership and mentorship by serving as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years relevant sales or equivalent experience
- Good oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations
- Proven leadership abilities
- Negotiation, contracting and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a regulated environment
- Strategic planning and organizational skills
- Medical or Diagnostics Capital Equipment sales experience preferred.
