About the role
- Lead the transformation of procurement through collaboration and strategic business partnering
- Proactively identify and drive strategies for managing and sourcing third-party spend requirements
- Collaborate with internal procurement and business stakeholders to build and implement comprehensive category sourcing strategies
- Conduct market analysis to develop strategies, best practices, and guidance on tactical plans for sourcing and negotiation
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate energy price volatility
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or a related discipline
- 7+ years of procurement experience in strategic sourcing, global category management, complex procurement contracting, and operational category efficiency projects
- Solid leadership experience, extensive procurement experience and deep specific category knowledge in one or more categories
- Experience in procurement systems and processes
- Deep knowledge and experience in the Facilities and Utilities, especially Utilities commodity areas and knowledge of adjacent commodities
- Skills in project management
